Yikes! I don't know how I feel about there only being seven weeks. At least the weather, today, is in our favor.

I think it is great that you have started this blog. Hopefully everyone will get invovled.

Look forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting.

Hi everyone!

It's May on Thursday and I promised myself that I would start running twice a day once a week in May...so, anyone up for an early Saturday run (3-4 miles) followed by a late afternoon run (4-5 miles) this Saturday, May 3rd? You could do all or part with me...plus, I'd like to see some of these hilly Providence runs. Let me know if you are interested...have great runs!

I'm in for the double-run on Saturday! What about early morning, like 7:00 am, and early evening - 5:30 or 6:00? I have a baby shower in Farmington at 2:00 and my son's soccer game at 4:15.
Where should we meet?

Do you mean the soccer/baseball fields just east of Spring Creek Middle School? Sounds good to me.

two-a-day in May??? Ali did not tell me this team was hardcore! I'm going to have to get off my but and start dealing with running in the snow. Like Ali, I'm entirely caught off gaurd with this 7 weeks til race day thing. HELP!

Tiffany - I'm right there with you! I'm typically a morning runner but have been trying to go in the afternoon a couple times a week just to get used to different times of day. It's killing me! I feel so heavy, sluggish and slow. Any suggestions from anyone?

As far as Saturday, I'll plan on being at the war memorial at the corner just east of Spring Creek Middle School in Providence at 7 am, then again around 5:30 pm. This is straight east of Macey's and there's 45-degree parking right there as well.
